Kateryna Kukhar, People's Artist of Ukraine and prima ballerina of the National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater of Ukraine, became the face of an advertising campaign for Kolvi, a Ukrainian manufacturer of industrial heating equipment.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the company's announcement.
In the summer, outdoor advertising appeared in the capital, featuring a prima ballerina in a red stage costume against a blue flame, symbolizing Kolvi's business profile.
According to Kateryna Kukhar, the idea for this advertising campaign came about spontaneously.
“Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion and the gradual resumption of the educational process, the Kyiv State Professional Choreographic College named after Tatiana Tayakina, whose head is Kateryna, has been asking for help from philanthropists who would help refurbish the shelter for students. Oleksandr Kroshka, who heads the Kolvi charity organization, responded, and in just a week, the abandoned shelter was transformed into a relatively comfortable unit. And in the fall, the company volunteered to help insulate the facade of the college dormitory,” says the ballerina.

The company's slogans were chosen: “For warm deeds” and “Heats up on stage” are not just marketing slogans, but are fully consistent with real deeds, Kukhar adds.
“For two years in a row, Oleksandr Kroshka has been setting an example of socially responsible business. His support of pupils and college students is not only financial aid, it is a true example of caring for the future of Ukrainian art, our children and Ukrainians. This is the act of a real man, a man with a big heart, who literally and figuratively warms Ukrainians,” she said.
Kolvi explains that the idea of the advertising campaign was to create an atmosphere of comfort and warmth and at the same time demonstrate the main areas in which the company has been working in recent years.
“It's nice that Kateryna, when she learned that we were preparing an advertising campaign, immediately agreed to take part in it. I'll share a secret: when we were coordinating the shooting schedule, it turned out that the only day we managed to synchronize everyone and everything was March 8. It was a new experience for us, and it turns out that filmmaking is far from being a pastime, and despite all these circumstances, Kateryna remained steadfast and professional. Of course, it is a great honor and pride for our company that a world-class ballet star has joined the support of Ukrainian business,” summarized Oleksandr Kroshka.
In addition to outdoor advertising, several video versions were shot and edited.
The video includes several scenes, including a scene in a medical facility, a scene of the educational process in a school, the design and construction processes, and Kateryna Kukhar's dance.
As Oleksandr Kroshka explained, Kolvi's core business is the production of industrial gas boilers and transportable modular boilers used to provide heat to educational institutions, healthcare facilities, residential areas, and various social and cultural facilities in localities.
Kroshka's Instagram photo shows that his son also took part in the filming of the scene dedicated to the educational process.
