In the context of a full-scale invasion, when state and local budgets are under-resourced and all financial resources are directed mainly to defense needs, medical and social protection institutions rely more than ever on the assistance provided by international and domestic charitable organizations.
Municipal non-profit enterprise “Pryluky Regional Children's Home “Nadiya” of the Chernihiv Regional Council
According to the institution, 44 children are currently being raised there, including 16 children with disabilities (including seven children in need of palliative care).
Last year, the institution opened an open-type medical and social rehabilitation unit for the rehabilitation of children and children with disabilities raised in families, from birth to six years old, with central nervous system disorders, musculoskeletal disorders, mental and behavioral disorders, for round-the-clock and daytime stay.
Last week, the Pryluky Regional Children's Home “Nadiya” completed the installation and arrangement of modern medical functional beds with anti-decubitus mattresses provided by Kolvi Charitable Foundation, which should improve the conditions for the children and facilitate the work of the staff.
During a meeting with representatives of Kolvi, the head physician of the Pryluky Regional Children's Home “Nadiya” Nadiia Yushchenko demonstrated the conditions in which children of different age groups are trained.
She noted that, given the institution's specialization, with modern technical facilities for the arrangement of places for education and skill development, the institution receives assistance from European governments and specialized organizations, which allows it to make progress with children, find families for them, and promote their further socialization.
