Kateryna Kukhar, People's Artist of Ukraine and prima ballerina of the National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater of Ukraine, became the face of an advertising campaign for Kolvi, a Ukrainian manufacturer of industrial heating equipment.
In the summer, outdoor advertising objects appeared in the capital, where Kyiv residents and guests can see the prima ballerina in a luxurious red stage costume against a background of blue flames, which symbolizes the profile of Kolvi's activities, the company informs. Show 24.

In her commentary, Kateryna Kukhar noted that the idea for this advertising campaign came about spontaneously. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion and the gradual resumption of the educational process, the Kyiv State Professional Choreographic College named after Tatiana Tayakina, of which Kateryna is the head, has been seeking help from patrons who would help refurbish the shelter for students.

Oleksandr Kroshka, who heads the Kolvi charity organization, responded, and in just a week the abandoned shelter was transformed into a relatively comfortable unit. In the fall, the company volunteered to help insulate the facade of the college dormitory.
That's why the company's slogans - “For warm deeds” and “Heats up the stage” - are not just marketing slogans, but are fully in line with the real deal,
- said Kateryna Kukhar.
In addition to outdoor advertising, a video was shot, the full version of which is available on the Kolvi channel. A shortened version is shown at the beginning of the video on the YouTube channel of the Ukrayinska Pravda news outlet.
The video contains several stories, including:
- a scene in a medical facility,
- the scene of the educational process in a school,
- design and construction processes,
- Kateryna Kukhar's dance itself.
Kolvi explains that the idea was to reflect the areas in which the company's equipment is used.
As explained by Oleksandr Kroshka, Kolvi's core business is the production of industrial gas boilers and transportable modular boilers used to provide heat to educational institutions, healthcare facilities, residential areas and various social and cultural facilities in localities.
“In the advertising campaign, we aimed to create an atmosphere of comfort and warmth, while demonstrating the main areas in which Kolvi has been working in recent years, because we all understand that critical infrastructure is a priority for protection in the face of aggression by providing decentralized heat supply,“ said Oleksandr Kroshka.
"In fact, since 2022, in cooperation with international donors, local governments and central executive authorities, we have been working to ensure the stable operation of such facilities as much as possible in the face of energy terror organized by the enemy. That's why we were especially pleased that Kateryna, having learned that we were preparing an advertising campaign, immediately agreed to participate in it and found time in her busy schedule," he added.
Oleksandr Kroshka shared the secret of the campaign: when coordinating the shooting schedule, it turned out that the only day on which they managed to synchronize everyone and everything was March 8.
“It was a new experience for us, as it turns out that filmmaking is far from entertainment, and despite all these circumstances, Kateryna remained steadfast and professional. Of course, it is a great honor and pride for our company that a world-class ballet star has joined the support of Ukrainian business,” summarized Alexander.
